University of South Carolina Responses of 222 secondary-school students to the Perceived Life Satisfaction Scale were subjected to principal components analyses. Four primary life satisfaction factors emerged, which suggests that PLSS scores may be interpreted from a multidimensional perspective. Implications for theory development and assessment of life satisfaction among adolescents are discussed.
