Reliability of the Teacher Rating Scale of the Behavior Rating ProfileRichland School District 1, Columbia, South Carolina
University of South Carolina The stability and interrater reliability of the Teacher Rating Scale of the Behavior Rating Profile (Brown & Hammill, 1983) was examined for 37 learning-disabled elementary school students. Test-retest reliability coefficients were high for ratings of regular classroom teachers and resource room teachers over a 3-week interval. However, interrater reliability between these two types of teacher raters was low, with resource room teachers rating student behavior as less deviant than regular classroom teachers.
